Ramgopal Varma, who is never tired of his unrelenting attempts to scare the audience with his horror films, is coming up with Phoonk. As per sources, this film is based on Yendamuri Veeerendranath's Tulasidalam. The same film is being directed by Akella Vamsi in Telugu as Rakhsa. In Telugu, Jagapati Babu, Kalyani are playing the lead while Kannada actor Sudeep is playing lead in Hindi.
